Summer of Sustainable Change
The last 3 months have been historic and record breaking, and not in a good way. It has been a period of extremes, with highest historical temperatures on land recorded in multiple countries and regions, highest amount of rainfall recorded, highest sea temperatures for this time of year (a hot tub of 38 degrees centigrade!), and record number of forest fires across Europe, Asia, and North America, the lowest amount of ice in Antarctica, and the list goes on.
Needless to say, climate alarms are sounding loud and clear. The positive side that the climate deniers are now not disputing climate change, but how much of this impact is due to climate change. For us, our mission remains the same – reduce waste, reuse waste, repurpose waste, recycle waste (and in that order). For those that are taking the time to recharge, reflect and recuperate, we wish you a pleasant break and for those fighting the trenches, we are here right besides you!
